Skip the Skip Ltd is a friendly, family-run waste collection and recycling company based at Greendale Business Park. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Waste Collection & Recycling Operative to join our team.
This isn't a job where you'll be sat behind a desk all day. You'll be out on the road helping customers, carrying out house clearances, collecting waste and recyclable materials, and helping keep Devon clean.

What you'll get:

What you'll be doing:
*Collecting household and commercial waste, furniture and unwanted items from customers across Devon.
*Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
*Sorting collected materials to maximise recycling.
*Keeping vehicles and the yard clean and tidy.
*Delivering excellent customer service at every collection.
*Working safely and following company procedures at all times.
What we're looking for:
*We're looking for someone who is:
*Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
*Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work.
*Friendly and polite with customers.
*Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Flexible and willing to get stuck in.
*Committed to maintaining high standards of customer service.
Essential requirements:
*Full UK driving licence.
*Due to our commercial vehicle insurance policy, applicants must be aged 25 or over.
*Good level of spoken and written English.
*Previous experience in waste collection, removals, recycling, construction or other physically demanding work would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
