About the Role:
This position centres on managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support for budgeting and forecasts. We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accuracy
- Preparing monthly financial reports and assisting with year-end audits
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Supporting financial forecasting and cash flow management
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights
- Processing payroll and ensuring employee compensation accuracy
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes
- Providing assistance and support during financial audits
- Liaising with external stakeholders and auditors as required
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in financial analysis or forecasting
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
