Hours are 7.30 am - 4.30 pm. 4 days, Every Other Weekend.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our friendly care home team. You will prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals for our residents, ensuring all food is prepared to a high standard while following food hygiene and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve balanced meals and snacks.
- Cater for special dietary requirements and allergies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.
- Manage food stock, deliveries, and minimise waste.
- Comply with all food safety and HACCP procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous cooking experience (care home or catering experience preferred).
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- A caring, positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards.
