Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person, who is technically strong, to join our team as CNC Manufacturing Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in 5-axis CNC machining, offline CNC programming and advanced high-value manufacturing techniques.
The role requires you to advance over time into an exemplary, high-quality manufacturing engineer capable of realising ultra-precision machined parts to exacting quality standards from CAD drawings and models.
Learning and developing your skills alongside experienced operator programmers, you will receive introductory and development training in operating and setting the UK’s highest specification 5-axis CNC mill-turn machine tool, understanding engineering drawings, setting work-holding and tooling, before developing offline programming CAM and CMM inspection skills.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest and foundational understanding of engineering and manufacturing, a willingness to always learn and have a strong focus on quality and safety.
Skills and Experience
- Engineering / manufacturing qualification or apprenticeship.
- GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics, Science, computing, TD or DT.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Additional benefit if: CNC/CAD/CAM/CMM experience, technical hobbyist.

Additional Information:
- Monday - Friday
- 35 Hours per week
- Starting at 22 days holiday per annum (pro-rota if starting part way through the holiday year) rising to 27 days
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
