We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and people-focused Deputy Manager to join the team at The Foundry Bar in Haverfordwest, brought to you by Tenby Brewing Co.
The Foundry is a new venture for Tenby Brewing Co., and we’re building something a little different for Haverfordwest a relaxed, welcoming bar with a strong focus on great beer, quality drinks, good music and brilliant hospitality.
We’re now looking for a Deputy Manager who wants to be part of the journey and help us take the venue to the next level.
The Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of The Foundry, working closely with the General Manager and wider Tenby Brewing Co. team.
You’ll be a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor, looking after customers and supporting the team while helping ensure the bar runs smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for helping with:
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the bar
- Leading and motivating the team during shifts
- Delivering consistently high standards of customer service
- Opening and closing the venue
- Managing busy services and ensuring the team are supported
- Stock control, deliveries and maintaining excellent bar standards
- Supporting staff training and development
- Ensuring licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed
- Helping create a positive, fun and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and the team
- Taking responsibility for the venue when the General Manager is not present
And We’re Just Getting Started…
We’ll also be launching our food operation at The Foundry soon, which makes this an exciting time to join the team.
Our Deputy Manager will have an important role to play in helping us introduce and develop the food side of the business from supporting the launch and training the team to helping us deliver a seamless bar and food experience.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a supervisory, management or senior hospitality role
Is confident leading a team and taking responsibility
Has excellent customer service skills
Is organised, reliable and able to stay calm under pressure
Has a genuine passion for hospitality, food and drink
Is commercially minded and understands the importance of great service and strong standards
- Is confident working independently and making decisions
- Brings energy, personality and a positive attitude to work
Experience in a bar, brewery, pub or restaurant environment would be a big plus.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to get stuck in, have fun and help us build something special.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
