Duties
- Provide patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions tailored to individual needs
- Assist with routine examinations, vaccinations, and health screenings to promote preventive care
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities thoroughly
- Support patients through health education, explaining treatment plans, medication usage, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and practice policies
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate care effectively
- Monitor patient vital signs and recognize early signs of deterioration to ensure prompt intervention
- Conduct LTC reviews
- Infection control lead
Experience
- Proven experience working as a registered nurse in a primary care or general practice setting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to administer medications safely and confidently in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse patient populations and explaining complex health information clearly
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care
- Familiarity with Systmone
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in primary healthcare
Pay: From £20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 per week
