The Role
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team on a temporary basis with an immediate start.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly become part of the team and confidently manage a busy purchase ledger with minimal supervision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately.
- Matching purchase orders to invoices and resolving discrepancies.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Preparing payment runs.
- Maintaining accurate records within Sage.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice queries.
- Supporting the finance team with general administration as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience.
- Practical experience using Sage 50.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong communication skills.
