The Bruckland Group, comprising Bruckland Developments and JVB Construction, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within two ambitious and well-established businesses operating across the property development and construction sectors. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day financial management of the Group while providing valuable commercial insight to support strategic decision-making and continued growth.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining robust financial controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets and cash flow, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the business.
About the Role
You’ll work across both Bruckland Developments and JVB Construction, supporting a wide range of financial activities and partnering with colleagues across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
- Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors
- Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Managing VAT returns, payroll oversight and tax compliance
- Monitoring project and contract profitability, providing commercial insight where required
- Producing financial analysis to support business planning and strategic decisions
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Supporting the senior leadership team on projects and reporting requirements
About You
We're looking for a proactive and driven finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing business.
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or be qualified by experience
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance position
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across all levels of the business
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience within construction, property development or a related sector would be an advantage but is not essential

Salary range dependent on experience
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
