Mexicozy is a new Mexican restaurant opening in Nottingham's Sherwood area, and we're looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our kitchen team ahead of our launch. You'll be working alongside our General Manager and Line Cook, helping bring our menu to life from day one.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a brand-new restaurant from the very start - we're opening soon and need someone who can start ASAP.
We're looking to pay £45,000 - £48,000 per annum + incentives & tip shares.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent, high standard
- Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working station
- Manage stock levels and support with deliveries and prep
- Work efficiently with our Line Cook and kitchen team during service
- Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar kitchen role
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Available to start immediately
- Mexican cuisine experience is NOT essential
