We are an established independent unisex fashion brand that has traded in Camden Market for 16 years. Known for our distinctive collections and exceptionally high standards of customer service, we hold a 4.9-star rating on Google. We are looking for a confident Fashion Sales Consultant & Keyholder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a sales-focused, hands-on position for someone comfortable taking responsibility for the shop. Some shifts involve working independently, including opening and closing, cashing up and managing the sales floor without a manager present. This is not an entry-level role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive personalised customer service and styling advice
- Actively sell, upsell and work towards individual and store sales targets
- Build rapport with a diverse international customer base
- Open and close the shop, hold keys and complete end-of-day cashing up
- Process transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly
- Maintain strong visual-merchandising and shop-presentation standards
- Replenish stock and assist with inventory management
- Handle customer enquiries or problems confidently and professionally
Essential requirements
- Available to work five days per week: three flexible weekdays plus every Saturday and Sunday as the normal working pattern, apart from booked annual leave
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in fashion retail or sales-led hospitality
- Proven customer service and sales ability
- Previous experience working independently and taking responsibility for a shop floor
- Experience with keyholding, opening and closing and cashing up
- Fluent English plus fluency in at least one of the following: French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese
- A reliable and realistic commute to Camden Market
- Strong personal style, professional presentation and excellent communication skills
Pay and benefits
Pay is £13.00–£16.00 per hour. The precise rate and any performance-related incentive structure will be agreed according to the successful candidate’s experience, sales ability and suitability for the role.
Benefits include a £100 monthly clothing allowance to spend in store (£1,200 per year), employee discount and company pension.
