We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced kitchen assistant to join our catering team. In return we offer:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned in accordance with established cleaning schedules
- Adhere to all statutory and Company Health & Safety regulations
- Correctly store all dry, chilled and perishable goods as soon as possible following receipt and checking
- Store all cleaning materials safely and in full compliance with COSHH Regulations
- Clean and correctly store all pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware and service equipment to required standards
- Support the delivery of seasonal, nutritious menus that enhance residents’ wellbeing and reflect individual dietary needs
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Chef, Head Chef or Home Manager
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in catering roles, ideally within a care home or hospitality environment
- A kind, caring approach and a passion for delivering the highest standards of service and support to older people
- Strong communication skills and a participatory approach to working with residents, relatives and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with flexibility to work independently when required
- Right to work in the UK
