Job Title: Injection Mould Designer
Design of Injection mould tools, from single impression to multi cavity hot runner for our in house toolroom.
Our customer base is medical, automotive, switchgear and packaging
Knowledge of side cores, up and aways, steel types and selection, polymers hydraulics, hot runners, machining strategy’s
41.5 hours per week 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 08.00 – 16.00 Fridays
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Injection mould design
· Component design
· Design reviews
· Design for manufacture (DFM)
· 3D & 2D design Pro Engineer (Creo) and Solidworks preferable
· Project management
· Customer interaction
To be considered for the role you must have:
· Experience in injection mould Design and preferably Toolmaking
· Experience of all types of injection mould design and high precision mould tools
· Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety
· Be able to communicate well and be part of a team

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
