Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caretaker/Maintenance professional to ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with supervisory experience, to oversee routine maintenance tasks and respond promptly to repair needs. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized environment that supports our operational excellence.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and mechanical components using schematics and technical drawings.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades following safety standards and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service to internal teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, welding techniques, and general electrical systems.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or contractors.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team collaboration.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
