Working Hours: Approx. 8-hour shifts
Full-time: 5 days per week
Part-time: 3 days per week
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Hair Stylist to join our salon in the Canary Wharf area.
We are looking for a confident and professional stylist who can work independently with clients and provide a consistently high standard of service.
The salon is based in a busy commercial area with strong customer potential. This role would suit someone looking to build a regular client base and develop a long-term career within the salon.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional cutting, styling, colouring and other salon services
- Carry out client consultations and recommend suitable services based on the client’s hair and desired result
- Manage clients independently from consultation through to the finished result
- Maintain a high standard of technical work and customer service
- Provide professional aftercare and hair maintenance advice
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working area
Requirements
- Confident in cutting and styling
- Good general hairdressing skills
- Able to carry out client consultations and work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional at work
- Previous professional salon experience preferred
- No fixed minimum number of years of experience required — practical ability and quality of work are more important
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- No specific UK hairdressing qualification is required
Experience in additional services such as colouring, highlights, balayage, bleaching or perming would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Full details of the compensation structure will be discussed during the interview and will depend on experience, ability and working arrangement.
Working Pattern
Full-time positions are normally based on 5 working days per week.
Part-time positions are normally based on 3 working days per week.
Working days are arranged on a rota basis and may include weekends.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
