Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Full-time and Part-time Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will support residents with daily activities, help maintain their well-being, and contribute to creating a warm, caring environment. Your energy and communication skills will make a real difference in residents’ lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Follow individual care plans to ensure residents’ specific needs are met effectively
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding residents’ conditions and progress
- Support safe and comfortable living environments by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Document care activities accurately using IT systems and ensure compliance with care standards
- Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings, ensuring their safety at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Basic IT literacy for recording care notes and updating care plans
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies is desirable
