At IVY CRUZ, we specialise in designing and installing luxury artificial floral displays that transform commercial and residential spaces. From striking restaurant ceilings and bespoke seasonal installations to statement trees, entrance displays, and premium Christmas décor, every project is handcrafted with creativity, precision, and exceptional attention to detail. We work with clients across the UK, delivering bespoke installations that combine beautiful design with practical craftsmanship to create unforgettable spaces.
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Decor Installation Technician to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for someone who is naturally practical, confident using tools, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional installations.
You'll lead and support the installation of bespoke artificial floral displays for luxury commercial and residential projects, working closely with our Lead floral designers and installation team to bring creative concepts to life.
As a senior member of the team, you'll oversee junior installers, help manage projects on-site, and ensure every installation is completed to the highest standard.
What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting floral designers in transforming designs into finished installations.
- Building bespoke structures including trees, planters, floral frameworks and decorative features.
- Installing displays safely and securely using the appropriate fixings and installation methods.
- Leading junior team members and providing guidance throughout installations.
- Organising work on-site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Travelling to client sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays where required.
- Maintaining excellent workmanship while representing the company professionally with clients.

This role requires a confident multi-skilled installer. These skills are essential and will not be taught.
You must be comfortable using:
- Power drills and impact drivers
- Hand tools and power tools
- Various screws, fixings and wall anchors
- Different installation methods depending on the surface

- General installation or construction
If you're someone who enjoys making things, fixing problems, and creating high-quality finishes, we'd love to hear from you.
Floral Experience
Previous experience with artificial flowers is an advantage but not essential.
We'll provide training on our design techniques, construction methods and floral styling. However, we're looking for someone who already has excellent practical skills and confidence using tools from day one.
Leadership
This is a lead role, so you'll be expected to:
- Supervise junior installers.
- Delegate tasks on-site.
- Maintain high quality standards.
- Solve installation challenges independently.
- Work closely with designers to ensure installations are completed exactly as intended.
- Lead by example with a positive, professional attitude.
What We're Looking For
You'll be:
- Highly practical and hands-on.
- Confident using a wide range of tools.
- Organised and proactive.
- Calm under pressure.
- A strong problem solver.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Professional with clients.
- Happy travelling and working on location.
- Passionate about creating outstanding work.
Please Note
This is a physically demanding role involving lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, working at height and travelling to installation sites.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys practical installation work and takes pride in creating beautiful, high-quality installations that exceed our clients' expectations.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role with contracted hours averaging 40 hours per week. During busier periods, particularly throughout peak seasonal months, hours may increase to 45–50 hours per week depending on project requirements.
For scheduling purposes, your rota will generally show working hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm. However, due to the nature of our installation work, actual start and finish times will vary.
Many installation days will require an early start (typically 7:00am or 8:00am) to allow for travel to client sites. Likewise, on some days we may return later in the evening (often after 7:00pm or 8:00pm), depending on travel distance, traffic conditions, and installation schedules.
Flexibility is essential for this role, as no two installation days are the same.
