LYCON is one of the world's leading professional waxing brands, trusted by salons, spas, and therapists worldwide. We're looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Head of Training & Brand Ambassador to lead our UK education programme and become the face of the LYCON brand.
The Role
This is a varied, exciting and rewarding position that combines education, brand representation, business development, and customer support.
Based primarily at our Haddenham office, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the training department, coordinate training schedules and support our network of field trainers. You'll also deliver training courses, represent LYCON at exhibitions and industry events, create engaging digital content and help grow the training division through new business development.
When office based, you'll also support our sales team through telesales, customer service, and order processing, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the LYCON UK Training Department.
- Coordinate training schedules and oversee a team of field trainers.
- Deliver practical and theory-based professional training courses.
- Host seminars, workshops, and live demonstrations.
- Represent LYCON at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Create engaging product demonstrations, educational videos, and social media content.
- Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and opening new training accounts.
- Develop existing salon relationships and maximise customer engagement.
- Identify new revenue streams to expand the education offering.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to support company growth.
- Process customer orders and provide telesales support when office based.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through excellent service and product knowledge.
- Produce presentations, reports and training materials using Microsoft Office.
- Maintain expert knowledge of LYCON products and professional waxing techniques.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about professional beauty and education.
- An expert in professional waxing techniques.
- Qualified in beauty therapy, with a PETALS qualification or willing to work towards achieving one.
- An experienced trainer or an exceptional therapist ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
- A confident presenter who enjoys speaking to groups and being in front of the camera.
- Comfortable creating engaging social media content and educational videos.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- A commercially minded go-getter who enjoys opening new accounts and developing existing business.
- Comfortable balancing training, sales, administration, and customer service responsibilities.
- Positive, proactive, and always willing to roll up your sleeves to support the wider team.
- A confident communicator with outstanding relationship-building skills.
- Willing to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays when required.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
