We're looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Workforce Planning Delivery Lead to spearhead the delivery of our Workforce Mix Transformation Programme. This is far more than a project management role. You'll play a key part in shaping our future workforce, ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, at the right time. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll use workforce planning, analytics and evidence-based insight to support strategic decision-making and deliver meaningful organisational change.
You'll help develop a modern, agile and sustainable workforce by bringing together workforce plans from across the Force and supporting leaders to address key questions around workforce mix, future skills, operational demand and talent management.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of a high-profile transformation programme, driving progress, delivering benefits, and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Providing specialist workforce planning advice and guidance that influences strategic and operational decisions.
- Bring departmental workforce plans together into a cohesive force-wide picture, facilitating workshops and coaching leaders to deliver high-quality plans.
- Partner with colleagues across People Services, Finance, Change, ICT, and operational policing to develop and deliver major workforce initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in strategic workforce planning and programme management within large, complex organisations
- Proven track record in supporting the design, development , and delivery of workforce
transformation or organisational change initiatives
- Skilled at influencing and co-ordinating multi-functional teams to achieve challenging objectives and
deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret and present complex data to varied audiences
- Strong planning and organisational abilities, adept at managing multiple priorities and delivering
results under pressure
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with effective communication and negotiation at
all levels
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, including
trade unions and staff associations
- Proficient in numeracy, IT, and the use of workforce analytics and project management tools, with
flexibility to work across locations and hours
- Ability to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk as required
