With the take over of the Business and new Directors, we at Pathfinder Homes are growing and currently have a number of vacancies within our 1st fix Team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality while completing scheduled works to a high standard.
Duties
Form part of the team that includes work related to Wall building, cladding and chassis build.
· Execute 1st fix operations, including wall building, boarding, and exterior/interior cladding, according to technical drawings and specifications.
· Measure, cut, and install materials accurately to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
· Guarantee quality standards are achieved on all installations and sign off on necessary QC documentation.
· Maintain good housekeeping by ensuring waste materials are disposed of in the correct skips and bins daily.
· Safely operate, handle, and store all power and hand tools, carrying out daily equipment inspections as required.
· Communicate effectively with the Team Leader, reporting any material shortages, defects, or unavoidable production obstacles immediately.
· Enforce good working practices, including strict adherence to PPE requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Ensure company Health and Safety procedures are consistently followed on the shop floor or site.
- Experience / Certification
- Minimum 2 years practical training and experience within construction trades.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
