Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality standards. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and oversee schedules to drive successful project outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in transforming design visions into reality while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 to coordinate all phases of construction activities efficiently.
- Oversee procurement processes, including contractor selection, contract negotiations, and management of subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, inspections, and meetings; proactively address issues to minimize delays.
- Utilize Civil 3D software for site design review, grading plans, and infrastructure layout coordination.
- Manage project documentation meticulously, including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), safety reports, and progress reports.
- Enforce strict safety protocols on-site to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet critical project milestones.
Experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Construction Project Manager overseeing large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software and Civil 3D design tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, codes, standards, and best practices across civil engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £45,867.00-£65,000.00 per year
