Our new Transformation and Improvement Team will drive fundamental change across the organisation. As Assistant Director of Transformation, you will play a leading role in reshaping how the council operates, ensuring we deliver sustainable, high‑quality services and achieve the best possible outcomes for residents.
Working at the heart of the organisation, you will lead the design and delivery of a high-impact transformation programme. You will help set the pace and direction, keeping focus on outcomes, benefits realisation and grip on delivery across multiple workstreams.
You will work closely with elected members, senior officers, Ministerial Envoys and partners to maintain momentum and ensure transparency, accountability and collaboration. You will have line management responsibility for colleagues within the wider transformation and improvement team, you will embed programme management discipline, support cultural change and ensure the organisation has the capability to keep improving into the future.
