Barnardos Mentora is recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team!

The Mentora Service is part of Barnardos Newport Connect. It provides support to children, young people and families across Newport, through a bank of fully trained volunteers. They deliver fun and informative Family Hubs, with the addition of offering a121 Befriending service.
In this rewarding role, you will establish, develop and sustain volunteering services to meet project and operational needs. You will play a key part in recruiting, supporting and developing volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and meaningful volunteering experience while helping to deliver high-quality services.
We are looking for:
- An outgoing, confident and skilled communicator who is able to build trusting relationships and influence people.
- You will feel confident to speak to people from a wide range of backgrounds with the ability to proactively seek out opportunities to build partnerships and promote the project.
- You will be a self-motivated, committed person with experience of working and/or volunteering in the homelessness, housing or voluntary and community
