Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Labour Solar Installers to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Assist with the setup and preparation of solar panel installation sites, including site clearing and groundwork.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators to facilitate groundwork and foundation work for solar arrays.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble mounting structures and secure solar panels.
- Support electricians and other team members by handling electrical components and ensuring proper connections.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of installed components to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Requirements
- Prior experience with excavators or heavy machinery operation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to handle welding equipment safely.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to construction or electrical systems is advantageous.
- Some electrical experience or understanding of electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely.
- Strong teamwork ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
