Job Overview: Senior Solar Solutions Manager (Powercor)
A senior project and technical management role working alongside the Technical Director to manage Solar PV and Battery Storage projects end-to-end (from survey through design to commissioning/handover).
Pay, Location & Perks

- Location: Based in Weybridge, Surrey with travel to sites across London and the Southeast.
Core Responsibilities
- Project & Operations Management: Coordinate labour, subcontractors, equipment, and materials; track costs, margins, and project timelines.
- Design & Compliance: Manage solar stringing system design, review surveys, and ensure installations meet MCS and BS 7671 safety standards.
- Grid & Client Liaison: Handle DNO applications, commissioning docs, site progress checks, and client communications.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years experience in solar stringing system design and Solar PV/Battery Storage project delivery.
- Required Certifications: Full UK driving licence, JIB Gold Card (or equivalent electrical qualification), and accredited Solar PV / EESS qualifications (C&G/BPEC/LCL/EAL).
- Software & Standards: CRM proficiency, background in electrical contracting, and knowledge of MCS processes (experience with Solar Edge, PV Sol, or Reonic platforms is highly desirable).
