Due to the Increase in capacity and numbers we are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nursery in Driffield. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave until April 2027. However, there is a possibility that this may result in a permanent position . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to supporting their development in a nurturing, stimulating environment. The hours of work are yet to be finalised but the role is likely to be between 30 and 35 hours per week, term time only. However, if the ideal candidate wishes to work all year round this can also be accommodated. The nursery is open 8.00am to 5.30pm and the candidate must be available to work during these hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical well-being
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting
- Be committed to their Safeguarding responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s growth.
