Leiths is looking for an experienced Area Quarry Manager (East) to lead and support our quarry operations across the East region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong operational background, a passion for health and safety, and the ability to drive performance across multiple sites.
What you'll be doing
- Leading quarry operations across the East region.
- Promoting the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Managing production, operational performance and site efficiency.
- Supporting and developing Quarry Managers and their teams.
- Planning labour, plant and equipment to maximise productivity.
- Working closely with Plant, Operations and other departments.
- Managing budgets, maintenance planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, IMS standards and company policies.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience managing quarry or heavy industrial operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Quarry Regulations.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage operational performance.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
