What You'll Do
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support to adults with complex needs in a safe and welcoming day centre environment.
- Encourage people to take part in meaningful activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and confidence.
- Support individuals with personal care where required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Assist with eating, drinking, mobility, and other daily living needs in line with individual support plans.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Promote choice, independence, and inclusion in everything you do.
- Support individuals to access community activities and outings where appropriate.
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Accurately complete daily records and report any concerns or changes in an individual's wellbeing.
- Safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all service users.

Experience
Essential
- Good spoken and written English.
- The right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or in social care.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, behaviours of concern, or other complex needs.
- Experience delivering person-centred support within a day service or community setting.
