Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Mixologist/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional drinks and providing outstanding customer service in a lively bar environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behaviour and adhering to licensing laws
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is highly desirable, with knowledge of food safety standards
- Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail mixing, and bar equipment operation
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations will be considered an advantage
