The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing Site & Ground Investigation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of ground and structural investigation projects, leading teams, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery from quotation through to completion.
You'll work closely with operational teams, clients and senior leadership, playing a key role in both project delivery and the continued growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing geotechnical, ground investigation and structural investigation projects
- Coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
- Taking responsibility for project delivery, client communication and customer satisfaction
- Preparing quotations, project costings and commercial proposals
- Monitoring project performance, budgets and programme delivery
- Preparing financial and operational reports for senior management
- Supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Assisting with the growth of Bridgeway's investigation services across rail and wider infrastructure sectors
- Supporting safe systems of work and undertaking safety critical duties where trained and competent
- Promoting Bridgeway's values, standards and commitment to excellence in all areas of delivery
What We're Looking For
- Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering, geotechnical or construction related discipline
- Previous experience managing ground investigation, geotechnical or infrastructure projects
- Strong planning, organisational and resource management skills
- Commercial awareness with experience of project costing and budget management
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams whilst maintaining high safety standards
- Experience working within rail or infrastructure environments would be advantageous
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification desirable
- Full UK driving licence
