For three years, The Urban Company has supplied quality furniture and flooring to customers across Northern Ireland. Our showroom is where people come to find the right pieces for their home, and most of our business comes through repeat customers and referrals, which tells you how we treat people.
The Role
We're looking for a friendly, motivated salesperson to join our showroom team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose the right products, putting together quotes, and following through to close the sale. There are sales targets to work towards, and you'll be rewarded when you hit them, but the focus is on giving customers good advice and a great experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming customers and understanding what they need
- Advising on products, materials, and finishes
- Preparing accurate quotes
- Responding to enquiries through Instagram and other social channels, and logging them in our CRM
- Following up on enquiries to help turn them into sales
- Working with our fitting teams so every job goes ahead as planned
- Keeping the showroom looking its best
- Handling day-to-day sales admin
About You
- Friendly, personable, and comfortable helping customers make decisions
- Motivated by targets, but focused on doing right by the customer
- Retail experience welcomed, not essential - full training given
- Comfortable with computers, POS systems and email
- Happy responding to customers through social media as well as in person
- Organised, reliable, and good with people
