About the Role
Palram DPL Ltd is looking to recruit a skilled Routing and Printing Operator to join our Fabrication team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for setting, optimising and operating CNC routing and digital printing equipment to manufacture high-quality plastic products. You will play a key role in ensuring production is right first time, minimising waste and downtime, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC routing and digital printing machines for plastic materials.
- Approve first-off routed and printed products prior to production.
- Monitor production quality and make adjustments where required.
- Troubleshoot routing and printing issues to minimise downtime and scrap.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and productivity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to meet production targets.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Fabrication & Support Operator.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC routing equipment, ideally within the plastics industry.
- Experience operating digital printing equipment, preferably on plastic substrates.
- Good understanding of plastic machining and printing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment producing high-volume or mixed-product runs.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.
- Experience of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles.
- A valid Forklift Truck and/or Hand Truck licence (desirable).

40.75 hours per week
Day Shift
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 (8.25 hrs / day)
Fri 0800-1630 (7.75 hrs)
