Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in mechanical systems, construction, and equipment maintenance while supporting the installation of LEV systems designed to improve workplace air quality. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment that promotes growth and professional development.
Duties
- Assist with the installation of LEV systems according to schematics and technical drawings
- Support senior engineers during site setup, assembly, and commissioning activities
- Learn to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings effectively
- Participate in equipment repair and maintenance tasks on-site
- Contribute to site safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Help with general construction activities related to system installation projects
- Support the testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure operational standards are met
Experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in engineering principles
- Familiarity with schematics or technical drawings is advantageous
- Previous construction or maintenance experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong willingness to learn about air conditioning systems and equipment repair techniques
- Leadership qualities or experience working within a team environment are desirable
- Enthusiasm for developing skills in LEV system installation and maintenance

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
