Panel Physician Opportunity – Visa Medicals
2-3 days per week required
Visa Medicals is looking for a Doctor to join our team as a Panel Physician.
We are a busy, established immigration medical practice based in Central London, specialising in medical examinations for visa applicants, including US and Canadian immigration medicals.
We are looking for a GMC-registered Doctor who is interested in developing their experience in immigration medicine and becoming part of our Panel Physician team.
The Role
As one of our Panel Physicians, you will be responsible for conducting immigration medical examinations and assessing applicants in accordance with the relevant immigration medical requirements.
The role will include:
- Conducting immigration medical examinations under technical instructions set via embassies
- Taking detailed medical histories and completing physical examinations.
- Reviewing medical documentation and investigation results.
- Identifying when further investigations or medical information may be required.
- Completing the relevant medical documentation and reports.
- Working closely with our nurses, radiographers and administrative team.
- Providing a professional, supportive and patient-focused service to applicants from a wide range of backgrounds.
We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Be GMC registered with a current licence to practise.
- Have experience working as a GP or in a similar clinical role.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident conducting independent medical assessments.
- Have strong attention to detail and good clinical judgement.
- Be comfortable working in a busy clinical environment.
- Be reliable, professional and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Have an interest in immigration/visa medicine.
Previous experience as a Panel Physician is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided to the right candidate.

Visa Medicals is an established Central London practice providing immigration medical examinations for applicants travelling to a number of countries.
You will be joining an experienced team of Panel Physicians, nurses, radiographers and administrative staff, with support throughout the process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Doctor looking for regular sessional work within a specialist area of medicine, while becoming part of an established and supportive clinical team.
