Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Dental Nurse & Receptionist to join our team. This is an exciting dual-role position combining chairside dental nursing with front-of-house reception responsibilities.
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of treatments and technologies, including dental implants, IV sedation, digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, CEREC same-day crowns, cosmetic dentistry, and facial aesthetics.
What You'll Do
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and specialists during a variety of treatments and procedures.
- Support implant placements, sedation procedures, and other advanced dental treatments.
- Carry out intraoral scanning and assist with digital workflows.
- Assist with CEREC same-day crown procedures.
- Deliver outstanding patient care before, during, and after treatment.
- Reassure and support patients throughout their dental journey.
- Accurately maintain clinical notes and patient records.
- Ensure strict compliance with sterilisation, infection control, and CQC standards.
- Welcome patients, answer telephone enquiries, and manage reception duties.
- Support appointment scheduling and diary management.
- Assist with treatment coordination and patient communication.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment.
- Work closely with the wider team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Trainee Dental Nurses will be considered for the right candidate.
- Previous dental nursing experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience or interest in implants, sedation, digital dentistry, or specialist treatments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, professional, and patient-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while remaining proactive and self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
- Availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays is essential. Weekend working forms a core part of this role and applicants must be able to commit to regular Saturday and Sunday shifts.
