Location: Unit 5 Matrix Park, Talbot Road, Segensworth, Fareham, PO15 5AP - In Person Role
Shifts Avalible: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
Hourly Wage:
£13 P/H (transitioning to £13.50 upon successful probation) for shifts 6am-10pm
£15 P/H (transitioning to £15.50 upon successful probation) for 10pm-6am shift
30 minute lunch break paid (£1500+ extra per year!)
Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Start Date: From ASAP 2026
Up to two weeks (training): Monday to Friday, Variable hours
About Circular11
At Circular11, we transform hard-to-recycle plastic waste into high-performance materials for the built environment. Our product, plastic lumber, is a durable timber alternative designed for outdoor infrastructure and construction applications.
The majority of plastic waste is difficult to process, and much of it still ends up in landfill or incineration. Circular11 is developing advanced manufacturing processes that can handle variable plastic streams and turn them into consistent, reliable products with long-term value.
Having recently secured significant investment, Circular11 is entering an exciting scale-up phase. We are expanding production capability, relocating to a larger facility in Fareham, and building the manufacturing team and operational systems needed to support growth.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for 3 shift operators to join our growing production team and support the build for our shift capability.
These roles will start with a training period for the first two weeks, giving you time to learn our process, safety standards and equipment before transitioning into the relavent shift once fully trained.
Extrusion experience is not required we will provide full training. What matters most is that you’re reliable, hands-on, safety-focused and willing to learn.
Role Overview
As an Shift Operator, you will:
Weigh and mix materials ready for extrusion.
Run extrusion and downstream equipment safely and reliably.
Learn and follow standard processes for start-up, running and shut-down.
Carry out in-process quality checks and record key data.
Support good housekeeping and workshop standards (5S).
Work as part of a small team where ownership and pride in output matters.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with machinery, building practical skills, and taking responsibility for doing the job well.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Equipment Operation
Operate and monitor extrusion equipment and downstream handling systems
Load and manage material supply under guidance and standard procedures
Carry out basic changeovers, start-ups and shut-downs
Support troubleshooting and escalate issues when required
Maintain production logs and record outputs, waste, and downtime
Quality & Process Discipline
Perform checks for surface finish, dimensions and general product quality
Follow work instructions and contribute to improving them over time
Maintain traceability and accurate labelling/handling of finished goods
Health, Safety & Housekeeping
Follow safe systems of work and contribute to a strong safety culture
Support clean and organised workspaces, and maintain tool/equipment standards
Report hazards and near-misses, and take ownership of working safely
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need extrusion experience, but you do need the right attitude. You should bring:
A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Pride in quality, cleanliness, safety and consistency.
A team-first mindset and good communication.
Experience in a manufacturing, production or hands-on operational role (preferred but not essential).
Confidence working with machinery and following procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Ability to work safely, reliably and with good attention to detail.
Comfortable working with equipment and learning technical processes.
Basic IT literacy (recording data, using simple systems, reading documentation).
Desirable
Manufacturing / production experience.
Mechanical aptitude (basic fault-finding, tools, changeovers).
Extrusion experience (bonus, not required).
Forklift licence (or willingness to train).
Salary & Benefits
Hourly range: £13-£15.50 P/H with lunch break paid this paid lunch equates to £1,500+ per year.
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
