We are looking for a capable and well-organised Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects across our Oxfordshire operations. The post-holder will manage projects from inception through to completion, taking responsibility for programme, budget, quality and client satisfaction. Working closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors, the Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with all compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed scope and quality.
- Planning & Programming: Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, setting clear milestones and co-ordinating activities to keep projects on schedule.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditure and report on financial performance, ensuring value for money throughout.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are managed and met.
- Resource Co-ordination: Co-ordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of each project.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and specifications, carrying out inspections and resolving any defects.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure projects are delivered in full compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies and contractual requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation measures and contingency plans where necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress, financial and performance reports to senior management and clients.
- Problem Solving (Find and Fix): Proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect project delivery, implementing effective and timely solutions.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience of managing projects, ideally within construction, maintenance or a related sector.
- Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good commercial awareness and experience of managing project budgets.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Oxfordshire, with regular travel to sites as required. Working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to meet business needs.
Pay: £75,000.00 per year
