Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £13.06 per hour (basic rate)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shifts:
- Early shift (6.00am-2.30pm) The first 5.5 hours are paid at basic rate, followed by 3 hours paid at time and a half.
- Late Shift (1.00pm-9.00pm) The first 4 hours are paid at basic rate, followed by 4 hours paid at time and a half.
Additional rates: Enhanced pay rates apply to weekend and public holiday work

The Role
Our Bodyshop Department is recruiting for a Shot Blaster to join the team. This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in shot blasting, surface preparation, or similar role with transferable interests. We’re looking for someone who can meet our standards, and follow safety procedures at all times to support production targets in a busy environment.
Job Description:
- Operate shot blasting equipment to prepare surfaces to the required standard
- Check finished work for quality, cleanliness, and consistency
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or issues
- Work in line with all health and safety procedures
- Support production deadlines and work effectively as part of the wider team
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and ready for use
Requirements:
- Previous shot blasting, surface preparation, or industrial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and always work safely
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to support operational needs when required
