Job Summary
Our client is seeking a strong FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Manager to lead their financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis efforts. Responsibilities
- Drive the budget, forecast and board pack as the head of FP&A
- Lead the preparation and presentation of detailed financial reports, with the ability to clearly articulate to key stakeholders the wins and losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Ability to business partner is key.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through rigorous analysis and validation processes.
- Support the implementation of new IT systems or tools related to financial planning and reporting.
- Communicate complex financial information effectively across departments, ensuring clarity and understanding at all levels.
- Manage two direct reports (1 analyst, 1 business partner)
Experience
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar role, business partners making their move into FP&A will be considered .
- Strong proficiency in modelling and working with stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis; familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for presenting findings effectively.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Organizational skills that enable managing multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IT systems related to finance or enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is a plus.
