Duties
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards, accurately identifying issues and advising customers accordingly.
- Use a wide range of hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments efficiently.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as removing engines or large components safely and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and MOT documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations to foster trust and satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with solid mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
- Previous experience performing MOT tests or willingness to undertake MOT certification upon employment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling engine components or other heavy parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
