Position: Partnerships & Events Coordinator
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 40 /week flexible start/finish between 08:00-17:30 MON-FRI + Occasional SAT/SUNs (time off in lieu midweek)

We're looking for a proactive and organised Partnerships & Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team in Portsmouth, supporting the planning and delivery of manufacturer events, brand activations and commercial partnerships across the Group.
Working with brands including Hyundai, Škoda, Suzuki, MG, Genesis, Chery and Geely, you'll help coordinate around 50 events and activations each year. These include vehicle displays, promotional events, community showcases and sponsorship activities that help raise the profile of both our dealerships and manufacturer partners. You'll also help maximise the value of key partnerships, including Portsmouth Football Club, while identifying opportunities to build new relationships within our local communities.
As our Partnerships & Events Coordinator, you'll be:
- Planning and coordinating manufacturer events, vehicle displays and brand activations across the Group.
- Organising around 50 events and activations each year, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to delivery.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturer partners, sponsors, venues and suppliers.
- Supporting sponsorship opportunities, including helping maximise the value of existing partnerships such as Portsmouth Football Club.
- Coordinating event materials, displays, promotional assets and logistics.
- Supporting our Marketing team with event content, photography and post-event summaries.
- Identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness and strengthen community engagement.
Ideally, you are:
- Experienced in working within a similar Events Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Partnerships Executive, Sponsorship, Brand Activation, Event Management or Project Coordination role.
- Flexible to travel across Group locations and event venues, including occasional weekend working with time off in lieu provided.
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- An excellent communicator who is strong at building long lasting professional relationships.
- Confidence representing Richmond Motor Group at external events and networking opportunities.
- Experienced in working within the motor industry (advantageous but not essential).
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to get involved.
