Role: Security Guard / Gateman
Location: Longcross
Duration: Long-term (Minimum 12 months)
Shift Pattern; 4 on and 4 off - Day`s and Nights
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management:
- Access and egress control
- Safely direct and bank vehicles in and out of the site entrance.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Perimeter checks and patrols
Receive, check, and log all deliveries to site accurately.
Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel enter. Maintain clear separation between vehicle routes and pedestrian walkways. Ensure all activities around the gate and access points adhere to health and safety regulations. Requirements:

- Valid CSCS Card
- Traffic Marshall (Banksman) Ticket
- Proven experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong work ethic – reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A safety-first attitude with attention to detail.
Please be advised that your payments will be processed under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) payroll. This means that you will be treated as self-employed subcontractors for tax purposes, and deductions for tax will be made at the standard CIS rate (usually 20%) before payments are issued.
Key points to note:
- You are responsible for managing your own National Insurance and submitting your annual Self-Assessment tax return.
- You must be registered with HMRC under the CIS scheme to avoid higher deduction rates (30%).
- Payment statements detailing deductions will be provided for your records.
