Aquarist Job description
As a Koi Water Garden Aquarist; you will be trained in the construction and landscaping of Koi and garden ponds, including the installation of pump and filter systems.
You will also be trained to carry out maintenance and cleaning on Koi ponds, garden ponds and water features.
Koi Water Garden is one of the leading importers of Japanese Koi in the UK and you will also be trained in fish health along with sales and selection knowledge.
We start at 7:30am at Banstead, Monday to Friday , and will finish at 4:30pm - The working week is generally Monday - Friday
Job Requirements
A Full UK Drivers License is ESSENTIAL for this position
The following are not required but will be helpful when starting as an Aquarist:
General building/labour experience
Punctual, reliable, friendly
Mature and confident manner
Organised, methodical and driven.
An interest in fish/koi

Negotiable salary - £26,500 - £35,000 based on experience / knowledge (Pay is reviewed every 3 months and will increase as you learn and develop Aquarist skills)

When you begin working for Koi Water Garden, you will be assigned daily to work with a senior Aquarist, they will guide and educate you to improve your knowledge in aquatics, that in turn will allow you to progress to a Senior level within the Company
