Roofing Gear, part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), is looking for a Sales Supervisor to lead our Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with merchanting or roofing sector experience who enjoys building customer relationships, driving sales, and leading a successful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams.
- Drive sales growth through proactive customer contact and quotation follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with roofing contractors and trade customers.
- Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profit targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Monitor sales performance using Power BI and branch reports.
- Manage margins and ensure enquiries are processed efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience within a Roofing Merchant, Builders Merchant or Construction Supply environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Good commercial awareness and margin management skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
- Roofing product knowledge is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Week 1: Monday Friday, 07:00 16:30
Week 2: Monday Friday, 07:00 16:30 + Saturday, 08:0012:00
