Road Marking Supervisor
Job Description:
We are looking for full-time, permanent experienced Supervisor to be based from our Hardwick, Gloucester depot. The role will require regular travel across areas including but not limited to Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire.
The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, managing resources and facilitating communication between internal teams, clients and subcontractors. The Supervisor will also ensure that works are completed in compliance with WJ’s own policies and procedures and compile reports from the nights events and activities.
Job Description
- Plan and coordinate crews to ensure works are carried out to standards in an efficient manner.
- Assist with any marking out and pre-marking where required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding contract-related matters.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Ensure works are being delivered in a safe manner, carry out safety audits and ensure relevant training is provided.
- Carryout regular toolbox talks, give inductions and work briefs.
- Check and monitor works carried out meet or exceed WJ / client’s expectations
- Ensure EDRS are returned daily and have full and correct information
Qualifications
- Basic computer literacy, including email and EDRS.
- Organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding and working knowledge of site operations.
- SSSTS required however training can be arranged to obtain this.
