Role Purpose
The Regional Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of construction projects within a designated region, supporting the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This role ensures site teams, subcontractors, and resources are effectively managed, while compliance, Health & Safety, and communication standards are maintained across all projects.
You will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate multiple sites, supervise regional teams, oversee equipment and resource allocation, and maintain accurate project records. By doing so, you will help drive operational efficiency, enforce compliance, and support a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Project Oversight & Supervision
· Supervise multiple live projects within a designated region, ensuring programme, scope, and quality targets are met
· Monitor on-site teams, subcontractors, and project activities to ensure efficient and compliant delivery
· Support Project Managers in regional coordination and reporting, ensuring consistency across projects
· Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and operational issues
Team Leadership & Coordination
· Lead, coach, and support site Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors across projects
· Ensure teams adhere to Health & Safety, security, and quality standards at all times
· Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional behaviour across sites
· Support onboarding and training for new regional site teams
Equipment & Resource Management
· Oversee regional allocation of plant, machinery, MEWPs, Heras fencing, and other site equipment where applicable
· Ensure equipment hire, delivery, returns, and servicing are effectively managed across projects working closely with the project Co-Ordinators
· Coordinate resource requirements with Project Managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
· Act as a regional point of contact for clients and stakeholders when Project Managers are unavailable
· Ensure client communications are handled professionally and promptly
· Assist in preparation of reports, updates, and presentations for client meetings
· Maintain strong client relationships across multiple projects within the region
Compliance, Security & Record-Keeping
· Ensure all regional projects comply with MoJ/HMPPS regulations, CDM, Health & Safety legislation, and Sanper processes
· Monitor the correct handling, storage, and updating of sensitive project documentation, including H&S records
· Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks to enforce quality, safety, and security standards
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of working within UK prisons and Ministry of Justice environments, this role requires:
· Eligibility to work within secure MoJ / HMPPS establishments
· To successfully obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances, including EH1 / EH2 vetting and Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance where required
· Adhere at all times to secure estate protocols, behavioural standards, confidentiality, and information security regulations
Required Skills
Essential:
· 5+ years in construction site supervision or management
· Previous experience delivering works in HM Prisons or similarly secure environments
· Proven leadership on refurbishment, maintenance, and minor works projects
· Strong understanding of RAMS, prison permits, and secure site protocols
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Competency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
Preferred:
· SSSTS or SMSTS (required)
· First Aid at Work
· IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
· GNVQ / NVQ in Construction (desirable)
· CSCS (Desired)

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
