The Role
As a Fuel Tanker Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of fuel to our customers across South Manchester and the North West.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding multi-drop role, predominantly delivering to domestic customers. You’ll be comfortable working independently, dealing directly with customers and providing a professional and reliable service. We’re looking for an experienced fuel tanker driver who takes safety seriously and understands the demands and responsibilities of fuel delivery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Driving an 18-tonne, 4-wheel rigid fuel tanker
Completing multi-drop fuel deliveries to domestic and commercial customers
Safely handling and operating fuel delivery equipment
Carrying out daily vehicle and safety checks
Completing delivery documentation accurately
Following ADR, petroleum and company safety procedures at all times
Providing a professional and helpful service to customers
What You'll Need
To be considered, you must have:
Previous tanker driving experience
Class 2 / Category C driving licence
ADR qualification including Tanks
Driver CPC
Digital Tachograph Card
A strong understanding of safe driving and delivery procedures
The ability to undertake a physically demanding, multi-drop role
Good customer service and communication skills
