The role requires:
The nursery is due to open in October/November 2026, we are a lovely family feel nursery and we strive for happiness for our people and would love to have a Nursery Manager who values the whole team as much as we do.
Professional leadership and management of the nursery to deliver high standards of care and education to all children.
Clear and accurate record keeping.
Excellent planning, organisation and IT skills.
Wonderful communication and the ability to lead, motivate, engage and inspire your team.
Identify and record training needs and develop training plans for your team, with the support of Head Office
Recruiting, inducting, supporting and conducting appraisals and one to one meetings with your team to lead them to success.
Upskilling the leaders within your nursery to ensure that they lead their relevant areas or rooms effectively..
Promotion of partnership working including parents and external agencies.
Budget management including running costs of the nursery.
Facilitation and readiness of inspections by regulatory bodies and implementation of recommendations.
Essentials:
Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Safer Recruitment Training.
Minimum of 2 years recent experience of working in a Nursery/Preschool setting within a Deputy Management role.
Excellent working knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework.
Thorough working knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare requirements.
Strong understanding of health and safety and practical hygiene issues.

Pay: £38,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
