High Oaks is a small, independent care home for adults of all ages with mental health conditions and some also have learning disabilities. Most residents are under 70 and mobile.
We're looking to add two full-time support workers to our team.
We provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Care shifts are long days (12.25 hours), short days (8hrs), 1-1 Support (5/6 hours) and sleeping nights (12.25 hours including 7.5 hours dedicated sleeping time). You’ll work a mixture of these.
Day shifts pay £13.50 - £14.55 per hour depending on length of service.
Plenty of opportunity for additional shifts including sleeping nights where a higher hourly rate is paid for the waking hours.
Support workers may be allocated to lead long-day shifts which attracts an additional £18 rising to £24.50 per shift.

Some examples of duties you may be performing:
- Delivering care and support in accordance with the individual support plans
- Administering, storing, auditing and ordering medication
- Record keeping in residents’ daily notes
- Cleaning in communal areas and residents' rooms
- Driving residents to appointments and activities using company vehicles
