Davies Crane Hire Ltd is a well-established and respected crane hire company, providing high-quality lifting solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mobile Tower Crane Operator to join our team, operating a Mobile Tower Crane based from our Cardiff Depot.
The Role
As a Mobile Tower Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of a Mobile Tower Crane on a variety of sites, supporting residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of a Mobile Tower Crane in line with manufacturer guidance and company procedures
- Setting up, operating, and dismantling the crane on site
- Carrying out daily checks and basic maintenance
- Working closely with site teams, lift supervisors, and slingers/signallers
- Ensuring all lifting operations comply with health & safety regulations
- Maintaining a professional attitude when representing Davies Crane Hire on site
Requirements
- Valid CPCS Crane Operator card A40
- Proven experience operating Mobile Tower Cranes (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of safe lifting operations and site procedures
- Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused approach to work
- Willingness to work across South Wales and travel as required
