Due to continued growth, RS Anodising is currently looking for an Anodising Assistant / Metal Finisher to join our small, friendly team and work on our semi-automated production line.
This is a practical, hands on role involving the preparation and finishing of aluminium components. Previous experience would be useful but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Job Overview
The Role
You will help prepare and process aluminium components, including:
- Jigging and racking parts
- Loading and unloading components and production equipment
- Bead blasting where required
- Assisting with anodising, colouring and sealing
- Carrying out basic quality checks
- Completing production records
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
- Reporting defects or production issues
You will be expected to follow all health and safety procedures and wear the protective equipment provided.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn and follow instructions

- Practical and comfortable working in a factory environment
- Able to work accurately and meet production targets
- Happy working independently and as part of a team
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, metal finishing, bead blasting or using hand tools would be helpful, but it is not essential.
Physical and Working Environment
This is an active production role involving regular lifting, carrying, standing, bending and repetitive handling. Some components may be heavy or awkward, although lifting aids and team lifting will be used where needed.
The role is based in an industrial metal finishing facility. You will work near chemical tanks and machinery, and some areas may be noisy, warm, humid or wet.
